We all have a superpower. Use yours." ✨ – Dr. We all have a superpower. Use yours." ✨ – Dr. Damion Lewis

If you are a coach or a leader navigating a tough season, this month's episode is your reminder to step into your confidence. When you encounter pushback or feel your expertise is being overlooked, it’s easy to get knocked off your feet. But resistance from others is often a reflection of their fear, not your lack of capability. Dr. Lewis shared 3 immediate, SEL-based strategies for coaches leading PLCs or 1-on-1s this week:
1️⃣ Be Consistent: Build deep trust by showing up reliably for those you serve.
2️⃣ Listen First: Honor the expertise in the room instead of just dictating solutions.
3️⃣ Name and Frame the Space: Set clear norms and agendas so everyone feels safe to engage.

Leadership starts with self awareness. One of the Leadership starts with self awareness.
One of the most powerful things DISC helps people understand is this: not everyone communicates, processes, leads, or responds the same way.

Understanding these differences can transform the way we lead, communicate, collaborate, and coach others.

As a Maxwell DISC Certified Trainer, I use DISC to help individuals and teams:
✨ Strengthen communication
✨ Improve collaboration
✨ Increase self awareness
✨ Navigate conflict more effectively
✨ Lead with greater clarity and confidence

DISC is not about putting people in boxes.
It is about understanding yourself better so you can work and lead more intentionally.
